Being a summarizer I have t0 go back and re-read the passages I think are important and summarize anything that is in that passage. The passages that I summarize I will tell my group and they will tell me if it is important or not. So every day that I was the summarizer my group learnerd something from me and I learn something from them. So everday is a learning experiance.

1. Describe Beth Ann’s new behavior. How does Mary Lou feel about it?

By the way Beth Ann is acting I can tell she feels good about her self and she wants people to notice her. I know this because she wants to tell Mary Lou about her date with her new boy friend.But she is so busy trying to figure out what to wear on her next date that she is to distracted to tell Mary Lou bout it. Mary Lou feels jealous about this because she to likes this boy that Beth Ann is going out  with.

2. How does mary lou act when Mr.Furtz dies?

Mary Lou is very sad and disappointed that he had died. and the way that he died.( a heart attack) she was astonished when sh got the news about it. but now that all of it has happened she know that there is nothing she can do about it.

Being a reflector is not an easy task but you can make it a fun one. By being a reflector  i have to go back into the story and find things that i think that my group should go back and reflect on or go back and see what is important in this story. It also allows me to tell my group, my thoughts and opinios on the story so far, and to have them ask me any questions they need to be answered about any of the part of the story they dont understand and for me to ask them questions that i dont understand about the book. This role also allowes me, and my group to make comments on the book such as things they dont like at all or things they like alot.

this week i was a passage master. being a passage master i get to   pick out paragraphs that i think are important or should be shared with my group and, or to be read again. So far into the book i have read that in the beginning of the book she  tells you about each of the charicters in Mary Lou`s famiy. then when the beginning of summer comes around her brother Dennis had gotten a metal spring into his knee from the bed he and his sister were bringing a bed down stairs from the Attic. So Mary Lou called a neighbor from across the street. the woman told her to wrap   up his knee while she went home to get dressed. that way when she got back she could take Dennis to the emergency room. while they are at the hospital Mary Lou stays home with her little sister to make  sure nothing happened to her. when Dennis came home his mom was now with him. the next day Mary Lou is walking with a friend and runs into a boy she likes. (Alex Cheevey). but when she runs into him she notices that he he is being shy and is blushing because i says he is going to a friends house when she could tell that he didnt know where he was going.     

This book is about a huge Luxurious ship that sinks when it hits an iceberg and sinks in the ocean.

Sirens of police cars and ambulances sounded the streets. There were kids with broken arms and legs all over the place. When Paul noticed that kids were still in the portable he became a hero and tried to save them. With joeys help they rescued every one in that portable. They ran to the portable. They helped the students in that portable to survive from all that was happening on this dreadful day.

 When the principle arrived she told all the kids to go home or to their bus stops that way they can get home safe.The mother of the hero boy gave us some thoughts on what she thinks is going to happen to the school and the children that were stuck in this sinkhole disaster. She said that is a disaster I can’t believe me son survived that horrible time and he helped others  That was also the Friday, September 15. This was also the day that Paul and his friends and his family had to go to the school gymnasium to hear the schools emergency relocation plan.

While they waited for the principle Paul’s mom said to Paul “you might have to go to a catholic school.” But when Paul reminded her that they were not catholic she told him that she had talked to his principle Sister Mary Margret and she said that you don’t have to be catholic to go to a catholic school. When the principle finally got on stage and apologized for them waiting. Then she said that there I no chance of that happening again and that the children should return to school on Monday. When all the parents heard the Monday everyone was shocked.

When the people on stage called out people who were courageous they yelled out Paul’s dad’s name the people clapped louder than ever. They told Paul to get in the car and talk about what school he was going to go to. When he started screaming at them and saying “I want to go to Lake Windsor Middle school” And that his parents have already ruined his life and now this is their chance to un ruin it. They can take away the IEP and let them put him on the soccer team. They put him in Tangerine Middle School.   

If I was going to make Tangerine in to a movie I would use country music for when they are driving to Florida. So it souds like the fisher family  a tipical family from Texas moving to Florida. Then when Paul sees a man sticking out of car window coming up from the sunrise I would make an engin noise while playing rock music. That way the veiwers can hear the car approching Paul. Then when Paul goes out side to take a big breath of morning air and smells the smoke from the muck fire I would put scarry music because it sounds dramtic. That goes with that part because Paul thinks the walls of his house are going to collapse or blow up, but when the firefighter shows up he says the fire is behind the house and cant be stopped because of a specific soil under ground.   

The safe exposure limit for noise is 85 decibels for eight hours a day. Every time the volume level increases by three decibels, the safe exposure time drops by half.

1. Why would a car stereo be used in for the snapshot?

A car stereo would be in the picture because a bunch of people blast their radio in the car , and also it is the loudest radio.

2. Why is the “100″ more to the left than the numbers above it?

The “100″ is more to the left because it is the lowest of the three numbers there so therfore it should be more to the left.

3. Why are the lines wavy? What does it represent?

The lnes are wavy because the are showing what is going in to ear of a person when the put music on.  What the waves represent are sound waves going into to human ear while listing to music.

4. What is the purpose of the ear on the right?

The purpose of the ear onthe right is that it is showing you what  is goiing into the human ear while you listen to music.

5. Do you need to know what a decible is in order to understand theis snapshot? Explain your answer.

Yes. The reason for that is if ypu dont know what a decible is you wont know what your talking about.
