1. Describe Beth Ann’s new behavior. How does Mary Lou feel about it?
By the way Beth Ann is acting I can tell she feels good about her self and she wants people to notice her. I know this because she wants to tell Mary Lou about her date with her new boy friend.But she is so busy trying to figure out what to wear on her next date that she is to distracted to tell Mary Lou bout it. Mary Lou feels jealous about this because she to likes this boy that Beth Ann is going out with.
2. How does mary lou act when Mr.Furtz dies?
Mary Lou is very sad and disappointed that he had died. and the way that he died.( a heart attack) she was astonished when sh got the news about it. but now that all of it has happened she know that there is nothing she can do about it.

I do not agree that Beth Ann wants to tell Mary Lou about her date - Beth Ann is being secretive which is why Mary Lou is feeling left out.
There is also more to how Mary Lou feels about Mr. Furtz’ death - it scares her.
